Terms of service
Last updated 16 September 2026
These terms cover the use of Lodge OS by a resort during its private beta. A separate written agreement with a resort takes precedence over anything here.
Who this is for
Lodge OS is provided to businesses — resorts, lodges and campgrounds — and to the staff they authorise. It is not a consumer service. If you are a guest of a resort, your booking is with that resort and not with us.
Your account
- Keep sign-in details private, and tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.
- You are responsible for what the people you give accounts to do with them.
Your data is yours
The bookings, guests, rates and records a resort puts into Lodge OS belong to that resort. We use them to provide the service and for nothing else. On request we will export them in a usable format, and on request we will delete them, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
Sending mail and messages
Lodge OS sends email and text messages on a resort's behalf. A resort using it agrees to send only to people who have a reservation, enquiry or other genuine relationship with them, or who have opted in; not to upload bought or scraped lists; and to honour unsubscribe requests. We may suspend sending for an account that does not.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe under the resort's own connected account, and money is settled to the resort's bank account. The resort is the merchant of record and is responsible for refunds, chargebacks and its own cancellation terms. Stripe's terms apply to the payment processing itself.
Availability during the beta
Lodge OS is under active development. We aim to keep it running and to warn of disruption, but during the beta it is provided without a formal uptime commitment, and features may change.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lodge OS to break the law, to send unsolicited bulk mail, to attempt to gain access to accounts or data that are not yours, or to interfere with the service for others.
Ending it
A resort may stop using Lodge OS at any time and take its data with it. We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and will give notice and a chance to export data unless the law prevents it.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Lodge OS is provided as-is during the beta, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
